Italian course - BASIC
Package: 80 hours per month.
Placement test: depending on the results obtained in the entrance test will be decided on the reference level for the course.
Maximum number of participants: 10 participants per group, or on the contrary there will be composed two groups.
Method: communicative, divided into daily teaching units.
Verification: A weekly will be made a short test to verify the effective learning of meta-linguistic knowledge and vocabulary acquired. At the end of the month there will be a written and oral test for the transition to the next level.
Levels: A1 – beginner A2 - Elementary; B1 - level threshold;
Absences, the student will have to follow at least 75% of the course to enter the month-end test.
Teaching materials: book different for each level at the choice of educational direction.
Italian course - ADVANCED
Package: 80 hours per month.

Maximum number of participants: 10 participants per group. If the total number of subscribers will exceed 10 students you will need to compose two groups.

Preparation for certification
Package: 40 hours + 40 hours oral skills written skills.
Placement test: depending on the results obtained in the entrance test will be decided on CILS level of reference for the exam.
Maximum number of participants: 10 participants per group.
Development of the course: 40 hours for oral skills will focus on audio and video material listening techniques, on the acquisition of language functions and vocabulary of various subject areas depending on the chosen level.
The 40 hours of written skills will be based on the reading and understanding of texts and production of written texts; the exercises will be targeted to the acquisition of formulas , connective and Italian typical structures wrote. Particular attention will be devoted to learning, consolidation and acquisition of grammatical structures.
Verification: A weekly will be made a CILS exam simulation and every day the students will undergo a short test to verify the effective learning of meta-linguistic knowledge necessary to pass the exam. Absences: students must be present at least 75% of lessons.
Note: if the Board considers appropriate to reduce the number of weeks and hours, I suggest you leave a high number of weekly meetings (at least 3 days per week of classes). Considered in fact the type of students, for the success of the course and for the successful Italian language learning we require not less than three weekly meetings, or a curriculum based on a higher frequency of the lessons. Teaching materials: at the discretion of handouts and especially texts with simulation tests

INTENSIVE COURSES
For the INTENSIVE course The number of hours varies in depends of the actual needs' students
entrance test: according to the results of the input TEST The course will be developed in tune with the needs of the student.
Maximum number of participants: 10 participants per group. If the total number of subscribers will exceed 10 students you will need to compose two groups.
Verification: A weekly oral tests will be performed.
NB: Textbooks always completely free.
The art Italian language
Package: 40 hours to be done in six months.
Placement test: depending on the results obtained in the entrance test will be decided how to develop the course at the needs of the student.
Maximum number of participants: 10 participants per group. If the total number of subscribers will exceed 10 students you will need to compose two groups.
Development of the course: the study of the language (10 hours), fashion / photography (10 hours), design (10 hours), architecture (10 hours).
Verification: A weekly oral and one multiple choice test will be performed.
Absences: students must be present at least 75% of lessons.
Teaching materials: at the discretion of handouts.

At the request of students we can organize cooking classes and tasting in taverns in the historical centre of Florence
The package is composed by 10 hours

The Language Centre can be activated at the request of individual students, even in the context of Italian courses Legal, Economic, Scientific.
The courses are taught by native teachers specialized in teaching Italian to foreign students or graduates in LETTER
